birthdays on the last day of the month

DD was born on the 31st of August. I am wondering when is she officially 1 month old? Sept 30th or Oct 1st and so on? I started thinking about this since every month has a different amount of days. Is it more of a case of "close enough" since it happened to fall on the last day?

    Close enough, but for the purpose of getting immunizations I think her dr's office would make her wait til Oct 1st.

    Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta.
    BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.

    Months vary in length anyways, so I would say it's pretty arbitrary, but if it were me, I'd count the last of any month as a milestone of sorts. Or you could just count her age in weeks and get excited at the end of every 4 weeks :)

    I agree. I am kind of thinking last day of every month makes sense.
