@Sigh202 Most of them are larger than 11, but during the ultrasound they make note of anything that is 11+ I just couldn't keep track of the different sizes, so I started counting anything they noted. Most are between 13 & 15 with the largest at 19. My RE said they count anything over 15mm mature. Is that normal?

Good luck to all the girls waiting on Betas, and those in the 2WW! Hugs to those that need them. And thank you again for helping me feel A LOT better yesterday. You ladies are the best!
AFM: I go in tomorrow for my 2nd monitoring appt, today is d5 of stims. I've got 7 follicles that they could see yesterday, 6 growing at the same rate, with the other just slightly lagging. I am getting much better at stabbing myself lol. The speed makes a huge difference!
QOTW: I've always loved Halloween for the dressing up aspect and for seeing all the kiddos in their costumes. But I love Thanksgiving for all the good food, and Christmas for my family's traditions
@emmuffy you can hold out! I know we had the same ER date and my beta is 9/24. I have no insight to offer on early accuracy but I would say your result at 9dp5dt would be pretty accurate.
I am going to try to wait until beta but if they made me wait until 9/29 for a beta, I'd probably POAS at 9dp5dt so I that I wouldn't stress about it being too early etc.

@crazygirl7882 I am so sorry, but I am glad you are able to move on to FET. I don't have any embryos left, so I don't know what I would do if I got a BFN.
Hi ladies, nothing new since the other day. I am now 5dp3dt with my
one & only embryo. Banking on this buddy, who I hope is implanting now and gets comfy this weekend. Was
horribly sad the other day about my slim odds -- I think the bad news about my other embryo finally sank in (as did too much time on the Internet). But feeling more grounded today. My beta is on Wednesday.
QOTD: Definitely Halloween. DH and I take our costumes to a whole new level of complete absurdity. I like to transform into something hilarious, unexpected, and 100% unflattering.
@Sigh202 I hope you get a happy turnaround in your
(preliminary) results. Are you going to wait another day or two before you POAS again?
@ky29 Enjoy your road trip! I can't think of a better distraction.
@turquoisequeen We are beta buddies. It kind of sounds like
my clinic does beta really early – I’ll be 10dp3dt at that point. Oh
well, I’d rather not wait any longer to be honest!
@kittenmittens9 Best of luck with your beta! You definitely
have the right attitude, and I hope I can have a similar outlook as I get
closer to my beta (I’m 2 days behind you)
@BlueJoan Congrats! I think your numbers sound promising. My
DH gave me his cold too about halfway through stimming, so I had a nice cold
during ER and it’s even lingering still. Well, I suppose I am not the only
oddball to be sick during summer. @emmuffy and I can keep you company in the "sick camp"
@siempre595 Hope those embryos keep doing their thing
nicely!
To all the other ladies, hope you have a good weekend!
Hi am new to this board. Working on IVF #2. Donor Egg cycle (my sister is the donor). Tentative ER is Weds. 9/24 with ET on 9/27 or 9/29. My IVF #1was my eggs.

@turquoisequeen I think I'm going to POAS the day before my beta (who knows, maybe before then too though it'll be pretty early). I just don't like the pity/sadness in the nurse's voice when they call me. I get that they're trying to break the news gently...but I can tell right away when it's not good and I think I'd rather know myself beforehand.
@Marissa6609 That beta is positive, but in an unclear zone, right? I'm sorry I hope a happier explanation might come to light soon.
I had my first bloodwork after 3 days of stimming. The nurse called and told me my levels were perfect. I go in Monday for my first monitoring appointment. That will be 6 days of stims. Hope everything is going well.
@amyalbert yes. My clinic said above 5 is pregnant. So now I go back on Monday to see if it's doubling ( which is more important than the number). I'm worried, it's going to be a long weeked... my last (and only) pregnancy had a low number and turned out to be ectopic.

@Marissa6609 Got it, that's what I thought. I'm so sorry. I hope your beta numbers double and then some. But I know you're in for a long weekend and that sucks. I'm sure nothing can actually take the worry away, but I hope you can find some good distractions this weekend (daytrip?)
My ER was this morning and it went well. They retrieved 24 eggs, but only 13 are mature enough to use. I am kind of disappointed by that number, but oh well. Maybe I should have been on stims a day or two more? I don't know. Now I just wait for my fert report tomorrow. My RE does ICSI to fertilize every egg, so hopefully that will help keep my embryo numbers up. We will have to see. My egg transfer will be on Wednesday, September 24th.
QOTW: Halloween is my favorite!

My beta is tomorrow. I had a BFP again today on the stick and the line was darker! I feel like a total cliché, only retrieved 3 eggs, only 1 made it to day 5, none to freeze, absolutely no symptoms, didn't get a positive until 7dp5dt.

Fx for all those waiting. I'm hoping the positivity of this board keeps spreading.
Today was day 7 of stims, and I went from 9 to 11 follicles. It's not a huge number, but my baseline was kind of low, so for me, it's awesome. My RE wants me in again tomorrow before deciding exactly when I will trigger and do ER. Anyone else have a CONSTANT headache while stimming? ?
QOTD: I love the 4th of July. I like the warm weather, beaches, and fireworks. And the cheeseburgers.
Thank you everyone for the kind words. I am signing off for the weekend. Dr. Google has done me in.

First beta is 109. I am cautiously optimistic. Monday will really tell the story, but I'm feeling much better than last time.
As I mentioned in the Progesterone side effect thread, I had a really nasty reaction to my PEO today. I ended up at Urgent Care getting antihistamines and a breathing treatment. So they're pulling me off that starting tomorrow, and adding Prometrium. My nurse warned me I'd probably spot from the change in meds, so I'm a little nervous about that.

Just as a motherf*cking update. My
sh*tty-a$$ lab didn't get the beta results to my f*cking clinic in time
by the end of the day, so I didn't even GET my f*cking beta results
today. They're CLOSED. Yes, I did POAS this morning and yes, it was negative,
but y'all know that there is no motherf*cking closure until you
officially get that negative beta. I NEED that closure. And even though
every logical part of me says to just call it and be done, there is that
.1% chance (that I can't ignore) and so I can't even morally allow
myself to get sh*tfaced tonight (as planned) as a "healthy coping
strategy". I seriously think this is so much worse than just getting my BFN.

IUI#2 w/clomid & HCG on July 23rd. BFN.
IUI #3 in August cancelled last minute, due to lab error.
IVF#1- Started Gonal F stims October 13 2013 for IUI. Over-responded with too many follicles, so converted to IVF. Retrieval October 29th - got 5 eggs, 4 fertilized. Had 2 perfect little embryos transferred on day 3 (Nov. 1). The remaining 2 didn't survive to freeze. Got our BFN on November 13th 2013.
IVF#2 - Started stims August 21st. Triggered with Suprefact, started on dostinex due to risk of OHSS. Retrieval September 5th - got 27 eggs! 21 embryos on day 3. Embryos deteriorated quickly. ESet 5day blast on Sept 10. No embryos high enough quality to freeze. BFN came Sept. 22.
Reserved a semi-known proven donor in August .
Waiting for consult/screening and protocols with estimated fresh cycle timing in October

@jzyla - again, that's just so shitty that they did that. It seems like someone at those labs should be able to look at what test was ordered, and realized that MAYBE just LEAVING it for 3 days is an incredibly insensitive thing to do. I'm so sorry
