So this morning I woke and went to the bathroom as per usual. I went number ones and twos. I then wiped and saw a minuscule amount of blood. Cue total freak out! But I fished around a bit and now I'm 99% sure it's coming from my butt. See I have these hemorroids (sp?) from like 5 years ago when I was a lot bigger and experiencing constipation that basically never went away (gross, I know). When they were at their worst the toilet bowl would be filled with blood every time I had a bowel movement. They haven't actually given me trouble for a few years now so I wasn't expecting the blood this morning at all. Anyway I called my OBs office and they didn't seem concerned and said it most likely was coming from my butt but they booked me in for a scan this afternoon anyway. I'm pretty confident that everything is A-ok but any spare T&Ps you can give would be very much appreciated!
UPDATE: Everything is good. Our little bean is absolutely fine and we even saw him/her moving about! I'm 100% sure now that the blood came from my butt. Thank God! But honestly how can my stupid butt do this to me with my PgAL brain and everything?! Anyway I'm just so thankful that baby is ok.

Some more TMI. Earlier this week I was having diarrhea every morning. Yesterday I finally had a normal BM and there was some blood. I know it wasn't spotting because I always wipe front first to look for blood, and didn't see any when I wiped the front. I hope your hemorrhoids don't get worse. Seeing blood is always scary.
Hemorrhoids are super super common in pregnancy something like 20-30 percent of women experience this. Drink lots of water and eat plenty of veggies. Definitely talk to your doctor as you don't want them to get worse.
I have the same awful problem.... I've had issues with hemmorhoids since I was in my late teens early 20s (pretty sure I have some sort of IBS issues) and pregnancy has always made it worse. With my last pregnancy I left blood on the exam table after my u/s at the RE . I didn't think anything of it, but the tech chased me down all freaked out for me. OMG she freaked ME out until I explained it was from the back not the front, lol
FX everything is still cooking fine in there!!!!

Hemmies are no fun. I have had them before having kids. This may sound silly but I have found keeping my feet up helps things go a little easier. I put them up on the tub but a stool would work.
I have this same issue though I've never been sure if they were actually hemorrhoids causing it lol. TMI warning: when I go number 2 I always wipe both ways front to back and back to front because I feel it's more effective and lately I get that little tiny red when doing the back.
Glad LO is looking good in there!

@nohalo21 Oh trust me I know all the tricks! Lol. When they used to get sore and irritated I would basically squat with my feet on the toilet seat to poop because it made it so much easier for it to come out. I love that you call them "hemmies" I'm totally using that term now!
Thanks everyone for your support. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with this stupid ass (literally) problem!
