Back to the hospital I go

Last week I was in for preterm contractions that I wasn't even feeling, just felt a little crampy so they admitted me. Stayed for 5 days of monitoring, no change so they sent me home on "partial" bedrest. Well "partial" ended up being not so much bed rest at all. I went in for my regular appt yesterday and they did a cervical length ultrasound. Ultrasound tech freaks out and literally says " well that's not good" and runs out to get my doctor. Immediately transported to the hospital and here I lay on hospital bedrest till I'm at least 34 weeks. Hopefully my LO stays put for about 2 more weeks!!

Always take the doctor's orders seriously! Even partial bedrest is nothing to shake a stick at!! Good luck.

Best of luck, truly, I hope your baby stays put until full term, but the blase attitude about this is more than grating. 

I was out on partial bed rest. Didn't really give me limitations, just said take it easy. Which, obviously means different things to different people. It's not that I didn't listen. Doctors made it seem like it wasn't a big deal so I went off of how they acted. When I got back to the hospital they said "well I guess we shoulda put you on full bed rest". It's not like a ran a marathon, just walked up and down the stairs one too many times.
