DH and I have gotten some bad news regarding a number of things in the past week or two, nothing insurmountable, but enough to weigh pretty heavily and put me down in the dumps. I know a bunch of us are having hard times right now so I'm looking for inspiration and positive things we have going on in our lives right now!

The weather (does that count?). It is so beautiful here right now, I can't believe it is July in the South. It is definitely having a positive impact on my attitude.
My new job seems to be going well. I'm on day 3 and I think I'm starting to understand the basics.
I finished shopping for Maya's school uniforms this morning. All that's left to get are tights and hair bows, yay!
Congrats on the new job, I'm glad it's going well! I think the bow shopping would be my favorite part.

It's Wednesday and I still have more than half the bag of Sweedish Fish I opened on Monday. That's pretty good for me at this point in my pregnancy where all I want to do is eat gummy candy all damn day.

Yes, the weather absolutely counts!

I am alive. I have been kicking butt at my workouts. That is all I got.

I've applied to two new schools. All my transcripts are on their way, and so is my FAFSA info. Until I hear otherwise, I'm choosing to believe that the problems at my last school won't hurt my chances of getting into one of these new ones. They both have sonography programs, which my previous school did not, so I'm excited.
One of the stocks we held merged with a smaller company and lowered its dividend, so we sold it and made about $1000. Enough to pay for our family beach vacation this year
I love that we live so close to South Carolina beaches.
My boss is taking us out to lunch today!!!! And I ordered the cutest invitations for the girls' birthday party yesterday! My SIL is getting married this Saturday, Dh, the kids and I are all in the wedding ($$$), but my wedding photographer is shooting this wedding and she said she'd take a couple of family pictures for me. Yay!

DS has exited a very long and torturous fourth trimester. I actually have a (fairly) content baby who coos and smiles instead of squawking all day long.
I didn't get charged for the seamstress at our hotel to stitch a pair of shorts that had ripped along the drawstring waist-way beyond what I could do with the hotel needle & thread. Those particular Old Navy shorts helped me through the summer of 2012 and are 1 of 2 pair that fit me right now w/o having to use my belly band. They probably cost me $15, and I was willing to pay to get them repaired rather than having to go out and shop for something that I'll wear for only a short time.
I've been painting my nails every night after the boys go to bed and they are actually kind of long! I've always been a nail biter with very weak nails that rip easily, I'm pretty proud of how they look right now.

This reminds me, it's your fault I'm not hooked on these:

Also, I get to go to TJs by myself (well, with DS2) and buy a bottle of wine while I'm there. I haven't had a glass yet. It's the little things.
Camden sleeps pretty well and we all have a good routine going.
The house we're selling is set to close sometime in the next 2-3 weeks.
