I was looking through by babyfood cookbook and came across the Avocado recipe which is just avocado and water/formula/milk.
I'm wondering though... Does it turn brown like plain avocado would? When it comes time to making it for my LO, do i only make what he'll eat that meal or can i make a mini back and put some in the fridge and some in the freezer?
I guess I've got the same question for things like bananas too or anything that usually browns and goes bad.
I never added anything to my mashed avocados but I did freeze it plain in ice cube trays for later. The avocado browned just a bit on the exposed top surface when frozen but my LOs ate it fine. I never froze anything with milk mixed in it.

I never added breast milk or formula to avacados either. I love this baby food because of its simplicity. At 6 months, DD1 took it well. The occasional oxidation never bothered her, still doesn't.
Re: Avocado Puree?
I'm just trying to make sense of things :-)
