foot peeling?

so i noticed this evening that the bottom of ds's  (who is 2) foot is peeling.  it's not the toes, but more the heel area.  has anyone had this happen?  thanks!

Yes, but with me, not my kid. At the risk of TMI, the skin of my feet peeled all.the.time from when I was a toddler until like my late twenties. The skin would peel pretty much everywhere - toes, arch, heel. I remember my mom asking my pedi about it since it never seemed to get better, though it was never painful or inflamed or anything and it never spread anywhere beyond my feet.

It still happens occasionally (I'm mid-30s), but nothing like it used to.

Could it be athletes foot? They sell over the counter medication for it. Tea tree oil works too, if you are into more natural cures.

My daughters feet were doing this. I just let it peel off and would keep it moisturized with coconut oil or aveeno. It eventually stopped happening.
