There's a huge thread about AMH on the Infertility board. I haven't read most of it because it's long, but there might be some information there that you could find helpful. Here's the link https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12628300/low-amh-level#latest
Don't panic yet. I would see what your doctor has to say first, he should be able to advise you on the best treatment plan given your diagnosis. Yes, .74 is low, but I have seen women have successful IVF cycles with lower AMH. With low AMH you might need a different protocol and higher stims, but not all hope is lost yet.
Hi Everyone, I am brand new to this site and have a question. I had an IUI last Monday 12/22/2014 and had a trigger shot 36 hours prior. I also took Clomid in cycle days 3-7. All of my tests came back normal besides my AMH which was really low. It came back at 0.48. My boyfriend is healthy and his tests came back ok. Has…
Hi all! I am interested to know of others that have a low AMH level and what their journey has been like. I am 31 years old and my husband is 32. I have been off of birth control for 20 months now. I have pretty regular periods but at times they can run a bit short. We have tried two cycles of Clomid. Two more cycles we…
Are you sure that's your AMH and not something else? That doesn't seem low to me. Mine is 5.1 and all the charts say that means I have optimal fertility. GL to you.
I just received my AMH test results and I have an AMH of 0.72. I'm 39. I was told that the normal range was between 1.0 and 4.0. I know AMH measures the quantity of eggs, not the quality nor does it necessarily determine your odds of getting pregnant by itself, but boy, the news was a bummer. Thinking ice cream. haha I…
In the past couple of months, I have had 2 AMH blooddraws, both came back with <0.16 (undetectable) amounts, yet my FSH looked good both times (around 6) as well as my Estradiol 37.9. My antral follicle count was 10 or 11 at the last ultrasound. I've done a bunch of online research as to how it?s possible to have an AMH…
Hi guys! I am new here. I am 27years old and i did laproscropy to remove some ovarian cysts. I now only hve one functioning ovary and my FSH levels are ranging 12-13 on day 3. My AMH is only a 0.22. My RE has recommended us to try AI for three cycles. I have failed the the first cycle following a very stressful period. I…
We tried to get pregnant and finally did after 16 months. Pregnancy wasn't a viable egg so after 10 weeks I had a DNC. Now it's two years total of trying and we went to a specialist. The only problem he sees is I'm 35 and my AMH level is 0.56. I'm starting to take DHEA, prenatals and COQ10. Did anyone still have a healthy…
@leekat14 Here's some info I had saved on low AMH and IVF and 2 papers that should be free to read. The annoying thing is that studies aren't consistent in what they consider low AMH - in some under 2 is considered low and others use 0.1 as the cut off AMH >0.4 significantly higher pregnancy rates under age 36 AMH levels…
