  • I would guess that if you asked most 8-9 month pg women if they are enjoying how they feel they would say no. It does get hard towards the end, it's a lot of weight to carry around. Doesn't make you a bad pg person.
  • I would say the best thing unfortunately is just to make sure you get a lot of fluids and most importantly is to keep the fever down. That's the biggest concern is too high of a fever being pg. Hope you feel better soon. Being sick pg sucks!
  • I had this with my first pg and a little with this one. I think it just has to do with where/what the baby is laying on. It could be that you are noticing it more now because they baby may have dropped and now it's putting more pressure on that area…
  • We have a Britax Boulevard in my car and a Evenflo triumph (I think). I think they both are fine and do the trick but we prefer the britax because it seems more comfy and is much easier to use.
  • I love facials..but I love massages too. If your DH gives you them go with a facial..Lord knows the skin gets dry and gross when you are pregnant.  I just had a massage a couple weeks ago and it was kind of a bad one and actually made me feel wor…
  • Sometimes it can get things moving along faster or put you into labor. It hurts but if you aren't opposed you can go for it next week. It doesn't hurt anything..it's just something they can do to speed things along but it's not a guarantee. If/w…
  • I was hesitant about it but I got one this time when I was 30 weeks along. I had a national work meeting in FL and was feeling just too white to wear dresses so I broke down and did the Mystic Tan. I probably wouldn't do it again in general but I ne…
  • People say the same thing to me. I'm not a tiny person-average, I guess but I just don't get a really big pregna nt belly. People said the same with my first baby too and I don't really know how to respond. I have small babies too. My DS was little …
  • With DS I stayed at 1 cm 50% effaced till my water broke when I was getting induced at 39 wks. I am pretty convinced being dilated or not means nothing..I think it's all in what your body does. Good luck.
  • Don't worry. I actually sell albuterol inhalers and have sold in the allergy/asthma disease state for years and know the medications really well. Albuterol is safe in pregnancy and if it's neccesary you should take it. I agree that if you have aller…
  • I get charlie horses every night..a few a night where I have to get up and stretch it out right away. I've been getting them for a few weeks now...I guess don't expect them to go away and I eat a banana every day. My dr said to increase water intake…
  • With my DS I delayed it so that I could nurse him first and bond/take pictures before that all went in there. This time I could care less when they do it..I really don't think it matters and I think it's not an option for us to elect against it anyw…
  • I always measured a bit behind with DS and towards the end it seemed to slow even more..usually due to the placenta getting a little "older". Don't worry..if your OB is concerned they will monitor it closely by doing BPP ultrasounds and if they feel…
  • I use a mixture of Cetaphil and Mustela stretch mark cream. I am a big lotion person and just using a lot of it..morning and night and putting it on asap after showering is key to really getting good moisture.
  • I would say that's cutting it a bit close. I drive a lot for work and I have a 2-3 hour drive every week or so in my territory and my OB doesn't want me doing that after 36 weeks. She especially said since it's my 2nd baby and things can move faster…
  • I also should add that your pedis office usually has tons of samples of whatever so I would ask them for a few different ones for you to try before you go and spend a lot of money. That's what it's there for.
  • I will be BFing but with DS after I was done BFing I did use Goodstart and liked that the best. I work with a lot of Pediatricians for my job and asked many of them what they recommended and almost always they said there's not a huge different betwe…
  • I remember before my first LO was born I was stressing about every little thing just because you really don't know what to expect and there's HUGE lists of all these things you think you "need" but really like the pp said..you really only need diape…
  • I was induced at 39 for growth restriction. It ended in a normal vaginal delivery.
  • I have sensitive skin and my DS even has more sensitive skin and he was fine with the regular swaddlers. He was allergic to the cruisers though for some reason so we switched to Luvs and those are great.
  • They can make pretty much everything you would normally order caf in decaf. I a lot of times get half calf too cause it tastes a bit better..for some reason decaf can give me a sour stomach.
  • I'm all about unwinding with some drinks and depends on if its hard drinks or just 5 beers. If it's 5 hard drinks every night I would say that's a bit excessive to unwind. I would have the conversation when he isn't drinking and is in a good mood. I…
  • Yeah, I was induced at 39 weeks and DS was 6 lbs 3 oz, perfectly healthy..just small. What's funny is that he's always measured so small, in the 10th or so percentile, so I think that's just the way he his. We are hoping he will hit a good growth sp…
  • No one asks how far along you are..I have flown a lot and just did last week and never once have they asked how far along I was. I would check out what the local hospital is and see if it's in network to be sure..that will be your biggest cost IF it…
  • I had growth problems with my DS and usually they won't induce for growth until 38-39 weeks to be sure the lungs are good and developed. I wouldn't get too worried.
  • That's funny you are wearing a depends..I'm seriously considering doing this towards my last week or so because when my water broke with DS it was EVERYWHERE and I'm so paranoid this is going to happen while I'm at work or something. I'm also puttin…
  • I have the Medela PIS-backpack..I don't think the bag really matters..whichever you prefer. I also preferred the Lansinoh ultra soft-thin ones that you buy at Target. The Lansinoh ones that I bought at BRU were different and didn't like those at all…
  • I didn't make it to my due date with DS either since I was induced early. I won't be with this pg so I guess I do plan on working (however hard I'll be able to) until I have the baby.
  • I have very sensitive dry skin and my face always is dry. At night I use the "Yes to Cucumbers" facial wipes---they are all natural and heavenly smelling. You can get them at Target. Then I use the Mary Kay night cream which helps. After I shower I …
  • They are so funny! That's cute and totally something my ds would do.  My DS was sick with the stomach flu about a month ago and I pulled out this old cookie pail that we had from our state fair for him to learn how to puke in to (he never made it…
  • I had one with my first pg at around 8 wks with some spotting and it resolved itself in a couple of weeks. I just had to be on pelvic rest meaning no lifting, no sex or strenuous working out. Walking is fine but just nothing too bumpy. Don't worry..…
  • This may be a totally late response but I'm kind of an expert with head lice, I sell a new drug for it called Ulesfia and talk about lice all day!  It sounds like you did already, but I would wash and bag all of your things that could have come in c…
  • My DH really didn't want to know with DS but I ended up convincing him to find out. I think the first time it was nice to know but now that I've gone through it I want it to be a surprise this time. It's really not a big deal to have clothes and all…
  • I just accepted a job and haven't told them yet. I did want to be honest but I also didn't want to not be considered for that reason since I know it's somewhere that I want to be for awhile. I couple months gone isn't going to matter in the grand sc…
  • Some people really love them but I personally hated it for that very reason..it never stayed in place and was always adjusting it. There's a post about this a page down or so too.
  • I was wondering the same thing cause I could swear I'm feeing what I could only imagine is little flutters occasionally but it could def be gas.
  • I was not a fan of the bella band because it always shifts out of place, your always having to pull it down and adjust it. I'd rather just wear maternity pants at that rate or just do the hair band trick with a shirt long enough to cover.
  • I'm sure it's fine but I've also heard from some of my "vitamin" friends that it can mean there's too many by products in it, meaning it's not a very clean vitamin if that makes sense. Something to think about.
  • With DS it took 2 months charting/trying. This pg it took us 8 months charting. Totally depends..I know it's hard but be patient and try to just have fun with it. The month we got pg with this one I totally was relaxed, we had fun with trying and no…
  • With this pg when I was earlier on I craved eggs too, except the yolkier the better for me! One night around 8pm I turned on the stove and fried one up..my dh was like, "Why are you making an egg right now!?" I'm guessing it has something to do with…
