I don't have any It's frustrating because people without kids assume I can pick up and do whatever I want, whenever I want. I don't want to leave my kids when they are sick, they need their mommy! Anyone else have the same problem?
My friends w/ kids have kids who are several years older. Plus they are SAHM and stick together. I feel like such an outcast b/c I work. Plus MH travels ALL the time, so I am mostly a single mom.
Most of my friends don't have kids. They don't include me in anything anymore. I think a lot of it is out of jealousy, as we are in our mid to late 30s and not only am I the only one w/ kids, I am the only one married. Plus they all still go out drinking, and since I'm pregnant and can't drink, they really don't want me around.
I can relate, it's hard for my single friends to relate to me these days. They're out and about, and don't understand why I can't just spontaneously do stuff with them. I have a 4 month old, there's really not alot of spontaneity in my life these days!

I see you're from Chelmsford, I'm in Lowell. LGH has a new mom's group, maybe that's a way for you to meet some moms. I haven't gone yet, but I hope to soon.
There are tons of mothers groups out there for working moms, stay at home and both. I won't plug my own but It is a good thing to join one and be active with them. There are play groups for toddlers, coffee times for moms or just meetings for moms to chat and get out of the house.
you can find them all over. I know some places you could look are lilaguide.com, meetup.com and thebigtent.com
I am pretty sure you can seach by area too so the group you pick is nice and close and convienent. I have made so many new friends who also have kids and know waht I am experiencing
Good luck.. I like message boards but it is never the same as making real in person connections and getting to know you are not alone :P

So, yeah, I'd like some new friends IRL.
