When are you telling work?

I am really antsy to tell! We had our 10 week appt. on Monday which went great and we heard the heartbeat. I'll be 11 weeks on Monday. I'll see my supervisor on Friday and I'm debating telling him then. But I am not sure if I should wait another week or two. When did everybody tell ? Or when are you planning on telling?

I told everyone today! My boss new, but was dying for me to tell everyone, so I finally just broke down and told everyone in our team meeting this morning. It was fun to be able to talk to everyone about it afterwards.

My principal knows, and some teachers do. I'm trying to let it just trickle down- I don't want any of the kids to know yet. I'm gonna wait until one of them asks me (hopefully that will be a while) then I'll tell them!

I already told my administration, but only becuase I am suppose to be going to Costa Rica in July with 10 students. I still have to tell the student who are going on the trip, but I'm waiting another couple of weeks. Naturally, it wasn't too hard to find another teacher to go in my place!

I told my boss around week 6 because I was excited. I'm glad because she let me know of the company policies and now I'm planning ahead for that.

i told them right away b/c I had to work some shows that required heavy lifting and I can't do that now, so I wanted them to KNOW why I was slacking

Probably 12 weeks. I want to tell my supervisor as early as possible, because I'm hoping to get a transfer to a store closer to my home before the baby comes.

I actually had to tell last week

I really wanted to wait longer but I was having to miss a lot of time a couple of hours here and a couple of hours there for drs appts and ultrasound and blood work. I only wanted to tell my boss so he didnt get upset about me having to miss so much but when i told him he screamed and the whole office heard.

My boss and I are very close so I called her right after I found out! She knew all along that we were trying and has been very supportive throughout the whole process! She was VERY excited for us!

People have already noticed my bump so they are congratulating me and inquiring. Have been for at least 2 weeks now. I am going to tell my principal she can announce it next week at the staff meeting.

I was going to tell at 3 months. But I checked my planner and realized I will be on vacation (not going anywhere, but have time off to use) during week 12, so now I will be telling in the middle of week 13. I am throwing a co-worker a baby shower when I turn 13 weeks at my house with another co-worker, and don't want to overshadow any part of her day, so I will wait a few days to tell. Also, my boss doesn't hardly even come in person to my store, so I may be stuck doing it over the phone with him because it could be several more weeks before I actually see him.

I told my boss and some of my clients. I work one on one with kids so I wanted to make sure if they were sick the parents told me. They are bad about letting us come when the kids are sick so they don't miss their therapy.

My immediate supervisor and 2 coworkers know and have known for a while. I plan on trying on holding out until after my February break to tell the Principal and make it public knowledge I will be a little over 14 weeks then. I have my nt scan next week and an appointment the week after so I will feel more comfortable spilling the beans after I have a little reassurance.?

I'm close to my boss but she is anti-baby (one of those power-women who is very career focused and not into motherhood At ALL). I feel like I should tell her not only because we are close but also because it affects projects I'm being assigned now but I'm not looking forward to hearing the hint of disappointment in her voice.

I also feel like it's too soon (6 weeks) but I'm not the type to keep big things a secret.

I've only told my office manager, one of the attorney's that I'm close with and another assistant. I work in a very small office (10 people total), so 4 (including me) out of 10 know. I'll be 12 weeks next Thursday so I'll either tell them next week or the following week! Hopefully everything works out!! I'm gonna have to work on what to say!!! We really don't have any policies in the office so I know what I want, so we'll see if I can get it!!!

I've already told my Marketing team, simply because we work together too closely for them to not notice.

Last time, I told work at 8 weeks after the first u/s. ?This time, I'll probably tell my boss after the first u/s & just let news trickle down from there.?

I've already told my boss (told her at 6 weeks right before she left on her maternity leave). I'm telling everyone else next week after my NT scan. I would wait longer just for the peace and quiet, but I have occupational exposure issues as well and don't want some people to know and others not to.

I told my boss at 4 weeks, due to the fact I work in a high stress environment with a supervisor who doesn't know the meaning of harassment or professional protocol. I can't have her pulling her usual yearly (It's all your fault...she did it...if you would have...she screws everything up vendetta). Also, since my doctor is an hour away from me I felt it was only fair he knew the situation so he doesn't get on my case about appts.
