Twin Mommies .....

how many weeks ahead did you measure?

(I know everyones diff, just curious though, I keep being told I'm small for two)

 

and when did you feel movements? 

 

 

maybe the dumbest Q ever!!!!

did anyone have an odd shaped belly due to the way they were positioned?

    at 16w-measured 25w

    at 24w measured 34w

    at 29w measured 44w

    at 34w measured 50w (I delivered at 34w1d)

    felt movement around 15 weeks (but they were my second pregnancy)

    omg yes! my stomach was sooo funny looking b/c our twins were laying sideways (like bunk beds)

    i am about 8-10w ahead but it's also my 2nd pg - so you tend to be bigger with the 2nd.

    At 19 wks I measured 26 wks.

    I have felt flutters for weeks, but nothing consitent.

    My belly changes shapes at time and occasionaly it's kinda cone shapped!

    I pretty much always measured about 6-10 weeks ahead.

    I measured 11 weeks ahead at the end.

    I started feeling movement at 20w.

    And my belly was very oddly shaped.  A number of people told me my belly was lopsided.

    my Dr has never said "well your measuring x amount of weeks " and I ALWAYS FORGET to ask ..... damn pg brain!

     

    but he did say that I was 3 inches from the belly button at my 16 wk appt. 

    I have an appt Mon ... so I will have to write on my hand to remember

    i was usually 4 weeks ahead.

    i felt bubbles at 13 weeks.

    yes i had a high belly on thre right where my baby b was all bunched up.  a was low and stretched out.

    I was not told how far I was measuring until just recently.  At 28 weeks I was measuring 33 weeks.  I first felt movement at the end of 18 weeks.  My stomach will be big on the right when the babies are crowded to that side it looks really funny.

    to clarify- my docs haven't told me how big i'm measuring either - i just know b/c last time i took weekly belly pics so now i can compare :)

    my 17w belly pick was almost the same as my 27w one with my singleton.

    I actually don't get measured at my doctor's office. They measure the babies in ultrasounds but all along the babies have been the correct size and everyone I know tells me I look small for having twins.

    At 18w4d I measured 22 weeks. I've really just started to grow a lot in the last 2 weeks so I'm wondering how many weeks ahead I'll measure by my next appt. I think the important thing is how big the babies are since we all carry differently. I'm almost 6 ft tall so I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that it will help me to carry these babies more easily....we'll see!

    For the most part, I consistently measured 8-10 weeks ahead.

    I felt movements around 17 weeks (my second pregnancy though).

    YES! My belly was crazy looking and favored the left side. Baby B was totally on my side.  Here is a link to a pic. Very last pic in my postthat day shows just how misshapen and huge I was.

    I've only had one measurement so far.  At 17w I was measuring 24w.  I started to feel them move around 14w, but it was just little bubbles.  Now they're definitely moving more and DH actually felt one of them last night.

    I'm bummed though b/c I was supposed to have an appt today and I wanted to see where I measured.  Stupid snow and ice is keeping me home again!  Now I have to wait until next Wednesday!

    My belly is still pretty normal.  Yours certainly looks find to me!  Are you tall?  That might be why you look smaller.

    don't know measurements...but felt first movement at 14 weeks...consistent  movement around 18 wks.
