I was watching Little People, Big World. And one of the sons said, "I am so pissed off." I say it. But I am not sure if I would want to hear my kids say it.
In short, no. BUT- like pp said... it's not exactly a pleasant phrase and it's not something I want my kids repeating- I don't say it in front of them.

I don't know that I'd consider it a cuss word, but it doesn't sound like something that should come out of a little kid's mouth. ?Then again, I try to teach Evan to say "bottom" rather than "butt," just because I don't like hearing a toddler say "butt."
Not a cuss word, exactly, but it's something that we don't say in front of the kids... There are lots of words that we don't say in front of them because we think they are in poor taste or think there are better ways to say things.
I remember when I was younger getting in trouble for saying it. ?It's not something I probably want my kids saying either.

I think it depends on what age the kid was if I'd be ok with them saying it.... I mean if they were in high school and lost a big game, I am sure they would be pissed off... would I want my 4 year old saying it... lord no!

For example, IMO, Shut up is worse than pissed off. Reason being --- shut up is usually directed at someone. Pissed off is usually venting frustration. Big difference, IMO.
Joey says pissed off sometimes --- because I say it ALL THE TIME.
However he will forever correct me if I say "Shut up!" (which I say in the Elaine (seinfeld) context all the time when talking to my friends and he ALWAYS corrects me.
Re: IYO is "pissed off" a cuss word?
Me with my littlest.

My mom acted like it was. I don't really think so.
I'm all about tone and context.

IMO its not a cuss word. I still don't want my DC using it.
