Bleeding 3wks after miscarriage

It has been 3 weeks and 1 day since my miscarriage started and I am bleeding again. It's red blood but not a whole lot---kind of like when your period first starts or when it's ending. Is this my period or just more bleeding? Has anyone else had this?

    If it stopped for a while there is a chance that it is your period.  Did your doctor follow your hcg levels down?

    I bled for 22 days.  20 of those before my surgery and 2 after..

    It could be your period, or old blood. I'm still spotting a bit and Friday will be 3 wks after D&C.

    the same thing happened to me last week - around 3 weeks after natural m/c

     I was going to post about this and ask too, thanks for posting

    I posted something similar to this. I started bleeding red this morning. It has been 18 days since the bleeding stopped and about 27 days since it started. I had AF like cramps the last few days and the bleeding has gotten heavier since this morning. I'm pretty sure that it is my AF. If it continues tomorrow, I'm sure that's what it is.

    Thanks for the input. I don't have the cramps or anything like AF, but maybe it is just starting. It doesn't make a difference really as we've decided to wait a bit to try again, but it's good to know what it is nonetheless. :) thanks

    Three weeks since your m/c or three weeks since m/c bleeding ended? If it's only been three weeks since your m/c started (or D&C), then you need to call the doc as you could have retained tissue that needs to be removed.

    If it's three weeks since m/c bleeding ended, then it's probably AF.?

    I bled for 42 days, and then had a break for about 3 1/2 weeks when AF finally showed with last previous m/c.  Like PP, if it has been 3 weeks since your m/c started, it is probably still m/c bleeding.  But if you have had a 3 week break from bleeding, it is likely AF.  GL to you.
