I love her and bless her soul... DH talked to her yesterday and she is so super excited about being a grandma for the first time. She told Dh that she has been goign shopping crazy for the little one... and since she does not know whether it is a boy or a girl she is getting things that are not gender specific.... So very very sweet of her... however, I do have 2 registries out there and she knows about them... and I so wish she would get some of the stuff we still need off these registries instead of her arbitrarily picking stuff out.
Re: MIL vent
I can totally understand MIL troubles. Mine's nuts too. She wrote a letter to my DH before we got married telling him to wait at least three years to try for a baby. I glad to say he haven't!
Hopefully you get gift receipts!!!!! Happy 26 days left!
can we all vent about our MIL's here?
We are staying with my IL's right now during our remodel and she is making me nuts already and we won't get to move back in until Feb 7th.
She asked us if we wanted new sheets and we said yes, well we go in to put them on and she and FIL already did it as if we (mainly me) are incapable.
The past 2 mornings she has told me that I shouldn't go to work, too cold and snowy/icy (the roads were fine) then she wants to walk me to my car (she is overweight and in her mid sixties and barely gets around herself) now what is she going to do, catch me?
She wants to feed me ALL the time, but she just doesn't understand that I either don't want what she is offering or can't have it (the gall bladder). Last night I went ahead and ate her dinner and had an attack
But it was really good
She went out and bought a bunch of stuff for me to eat, even though I told her not too and all the stuff is too high in fat and I can't have it. and now I feel like she is mad that I am not eating it.
Oh and the all time most annoying and it's DH's fault. He asked his parents to wake him up. They come into our room like 30 times every morning to wake DH up. So between them comming in to wake him up, DH's alarm going off and his dad comming in to take a shower (the only shower is in the room we are staying in) I am up from 5:30 - 6:45 when I don't need to wake up until 8.
I really appreciate all that she does, I really do but I am just tired and running out of patience especially by the time I get home from work.
