Made a waxing appt - no more shaving now there

Yep I tried and I can't see it well enough to not cut something which scares me worse then getting waxed. So I made the not nice appointment of going to get waxed next week. It hurt that bad while pg can it??!!?!!?

    I've always waxed and I now get the sugar wax, which doesn't bother me as much, still stings, but bearable. Take some tylenol at least about 30 minutes to 1 hr before you go.

    I've heard that because Tylenol thins your blood it can increase risk of bruising if taken before waxing.  If you are already prone to bruising, you may want to wait until after your trip to the salon to pop pills.  It will also hurt less if your hairs are less than 1" long; trim with scissors or a mustache trimmer in advance.

    I usually take advil but as yall know we can't take that. I was going to wait and take tyelnol afterwards.

    You're brave! I know lots of women do it, but I tried getting a brazilian wax a few months ago and I couldn't even let her finish! I'm such a wimp!

    I was just about start laser hair removal for my bikini before I got my bfp... How long does a wax last before hair starts to grow back? 1 week?

    Mine usually doesn't grow back for 2 wks and I go in every 6 wks for the full brazilian. I don't bruise, so that's not an issue for me.... I've been braziian waxing for 10 yrs.

    I use to go every 6wks but stopped when I got pg b/c I was afraid it would be to painful.

    My DH will be in charge down there when I can no longer see. He's done it before and was all into it. He does a good job, so I don't mind. Plus - it's not painful : )

    I just told DH last weekend that he will need to help me as I could not see it at all.
