Car seat for smaller sedan

DH has an Accord, so it's by no means real small, but the Evenflo seat looks huge when it's rear facing.  Any suggestions?  Maybe once we turn it around it won't take over the back seat.  Anyway, we only have one car seat and that's in my car; however, now that we've gotten a lot of snow, DH is taking my SUV to work and we're stuck at home with his car and no car seat (hence why we won't be going anywhere!).  Thanks for any suggestions!

Re: Car seat for smaller sedan

  • I have an Acura TL, which close to the same size as an Accord. We have a Britax Boulevard (RF) behind the passenger's seat. It's a little cramped, but I love the seat. I also have the Evenflo Triumph Advance in my MIL's small Acura SUV and it's not too bad.

  • I have a Beetle and we are using a Britax Roundabout rear facing with no problems.?
  • We have the Evenflo seat in the back of my Corolla.  It's behind the passenger seat.  I had to push the seat up a little bit to get it to fit, so any passengers would be a little cramped, but I rarely transport other people anyway.
  • We have an even smaller car (Corolla) with 2 Marathons in the back. Yes, they take up more room RFing and our backseat is full, but both seats still fit fine. And DD will be RFing for a looong time.
