NBR: 30th birthday party

Anyone have any ideas on where to have a 30th birthday party? I need a place where kids can go, guys and girls will have a good time. We have already had family partys at: Dave and Busters, Fox Sports, and Lucky Strike Lanes. So I am looking for something fun to do with a group of people for my 30th. TIY.

    I don't know if this will work, but I took my husband and all his friends to the Magic Castle in Hollywood for his Bday. Typically you have to membership (which is super expensive) to even visit, but we had a group of 12 and I called in asking if we could visit. The group manager set us all up and used his own name as our host. These days, with the economy being weak, it is easy to get into these exclusive places just by asking. My husband says that it was the best birthday he's ever had.

    Might be too cold now but if you are planning for late. What about a beach party? Crystal Cove has some openings on their cottages. I think because of the economy there are open spaces and lower prices. You can rent to use the deck and kitchen for the day.
