No preference boy/girl, just me?

Hey Ladies! So, am I just weird or does anyone else really not have a preference of boy or girl? My DH and I have always thought, for whatever reason, that we'll have a girl first. But I honestly don't care at this point. I'm just enjoying this journey and although I'm anxiously awaiting LOOKING pregnant, I am fascinated by what my body just knows how to do!

I do know that twins are on both sides of our family and we are told they are "due" our generation, so maybe we'll get one of each! Oh boy! Fun, but crazy.

Also...any ideas or thoughts on working after? I have always pictured myself being a stay at home mom, but at this point that just isn't possible. I do work from home, I do online advertising sales, but I have no idea how this will play out...on a call and the baby cries, what can I do? But I also don't want someone else teaching our baby everything, that's my job. DH works crazy hours right now and will be getting a new job soon. So wish us luck, maybe he'll hit the job jackpot and I won't have to work!!! (Sorry for the novel!)

I seriously don't care either way. I keep thinking we're having a girl, but I'd be totally happy with a boy too!

I don't care either way also. I have a feeling we will have a boy buy I am not sure why. I just want to have a healthy pregnancy!?

No preference for me. Some days I think boy and other days I think girl. My H really wants a little hockey player. I would love to see him playing hockey with his little boy.

After what I've been through I couldn't dare have a preference. That said, I will be shocked if baby isn't a girl and will be happy with that. But just as happy if baby turns out to be a boy.

Oh, and to answer your 2nd question. I work from home (I am in PA and my office is in CA). I know people think that's the best arrangement with kids, but it's not. My co-workers who telecommute, put their babies into daycare at about 8 months. As of now, my H and I plan on having me work until the baby gets to the point where they need constant supervision and then we will decide if I should quit my job or maybe look for a company that provides day care in the workplace.

i have no preference either, though a girl would be nice so we can take advantage of my sil's hand-me-downs ?other than that, no preference.

?if you can make it as a sahm, go for it! ?i would LOVE to stay home with the kids ?for now it looks like i'll take 3 months off then back to work i go, unfortunately.?

I dont have a preference...for two days i think of girl stuff nonstop and then the next two days i think of boy stuff...and it really just depends on what name I like best at the moment as to which sex I wish I would have. I really just want a healthy baby

I found this site called Nannies4Hire.com and they are actually pretty reasonable ($100-200 a week). I think I'd be more comfortable with that so I know the baby's home with me, but someone is there when I can't be. But do you really need that for an infant? Ahhh, that's the ONLY thing I'm worried about. I just want to be a mommy...and still a great wifey.

With my first pregnancy I went into it with no preference, but half way through I definitely wanted a girl, which is what we got. Now with the second pregnancy we kinda want a boy. But having a girl would be so much more economical, as I saved all of DD's clothes. Still, I can't wait to find out what we're having....

Honestly... we don't care. I almost thing 2 boys would be fun but would love to experience having a girl too... 1st time around we didnt find out though and this time we def will.

And I went back to work after DS. I work full time 3 12hr days a week and it works out well. I still have so much home time wiht him! But we also dont have the need for a sitter, its all grandma!

I don't care either. Healthy baby is what I want. I'm hoping to staying at home, we've been stashing money away for awhile to make that possible.

I have a small preference. ::shrugs:: But I'd rather have a healthy babe.

I will work full-time. I don't have any other choice.

I don't care either. I just hope to have one of each in the end. I do feel very strongly that it is a girl, but I don't know why. I don't know what my hubby thinks it is, he hasn't said. Everyone else who has guessed thinks it is a boy. Guess we'll find out in August!!

No... After my losses and infertility a baby with 10 fingers and toes is PERFECT nomatter what sex it is.

As for working, I will be going back... I love my job, it is manageable (good hours, summers off, etc), and my close friend who I trust implicitly has a day care in her home that works on the school calendar (my calendar). It is falling into place.

As for working from home - you will probably still need day care. My SIL and BIL work from home but they take their DS to day care so that they can get work done. A crying baby is very unprofessional and you won't be getting your work done if the baby is home all day.
