  My comment to my husband was "I bet Kate (from Jon and Kate +8) is crapping her pants right now."  A little compitition?

  She is very blessed that her babies were all so big.  I pray for her and them!

  I think we have a new TLC series that might be coming soon!  You're right kate is probably crapping in her pants right now.. LOL..

  i didn't understand why the mom wanted to remain anonymous and not say wether she used fertility medication.  I guess they just want their privacy.

  I'm sure tons are speculating. she is going to be one busy lady.  

  IUI#1 - 05/20/08 = BFP! M/C - 14 weeks baby girl
  IUI#2 - 01/07/09 = BFP!!! Twins!! Pre-term labor 20 weeks lost twin girls
  IUI#3 - 1/31/10 = BFP!!!! M/C - 8wks again
  IVF #1 - 7/2010 = c/p
  FET - 9/2010 = another c/p
  IUI#4 - 2/14/11 = BFP!

  It's already being discussed in posts below, but to recap what I said below my thoughts are people need to stop blaming IVF for this.  This birth was NOT the result of IVF.  IVF is an excellent fertility treatment for reducing the chances of multiples because the # of embryos transferred is controlled, and in this country you will not find an RE who will transfer 8 embryos.  Usually the max is 4, but most of the time only 1 or 2 are highly encouraged.

  This case and the other heavily covered cases of high order multiples are the results of using injectible fertility drugs with either timed intercourse or IUI.  So everyone please stop bad mouthing IVF, because that is a huge misconception!!!!

  Aaah, this I did not know! Sorry to upset you, Mrs Lee I posted below about how I personally should have said ART not IVF as clearly IVF isn't the only ART there is any longer. In my defense and ignorance, IVF/IUI they are all the same to me- I don't know much about either, so IVF is like a catch al phrase, kwim?

  i had 6 lead follies the day of my IUI and my RE was very concerned about HOM and almost called off my cycle. ?i'm lucky to have twins...and HOM are usually the cause of an RE who isn't thinking or monitoring b/c with that many lead follies that should have never done an IUI. ?however, we're all speculating (with prior knowledge of our personal situations). ?i don't think they're come out about ART.
