Babies: 9 - 12 Months

My poor baby!

I posted last week about how he didn't feel good and I thought it was because of teething. He had a low grade fever for a couple of days and then was fine until last night. Last night he had a moderate temp so I gave him some tylenol and put him to bed. He slept all night and woke up with a 103.7 fever. DH and I took him to the pedi and he ended up having a double ear infection and an intestinal virus. Poor baby i felt so bad and wish I would have taken him in last week. I hope he starts feeling better soon.

  • Oh don't feel bad about it! Sometimes, even with ear infections, they recommend you wait before introduce antibiotics, etc. to see if it heals itself on its own. So don't feel bad! But now you have extra reason to give TLC. PS I use motrin instead of tylenol. It has a longer lasting effect and supposedly is a better pain reliever (this is from an article in Parenting magazine).

Thats what the Dr. recommended so we picked some Motrin up on the way home.
