Pregnant after a Loss

I wonder when...

I'll stop inspecting the TP after I wipe. I can't keep from glancing at it for hints of pink or brown and I'm always relieved to not see anything unusual.  Sometimes I run to the bathroom thinking I'm starting to bleed but it's just abundant pg cm.  What paranoia!  Maybe in 2nd tri it will get better and I'll feel more confident?

  • LOL!
I still do....BUT the further you get the reasons for checking change.

1st tri: bleeding or spotting/ looking for possible m/c

2nd tri: spotting ot bleeding/ looking for placental issues

3rd tri: looking for mucous plus

Sometimes I feel so silly when I look at the TP and even sillier when I take a sniff of my panty liner to make sure I am not leaking anything. We all must be some sight in the bathroom!

  • I am 34 weeks now and I am still a TP inspector!
  • I am down to not forcing myself to go to the bathroom to tp inspect.  A step in the right direction!

  • Guilty as charged!! I always do it.
  • It will get better believe me, somewhere around 17-20 weeks I forgot to worry and realised that everything was going to be ok.

Of course being female we will most likely find something else to worry about so we really are our own worst enemy.
