We had the Chicco Keyfit and I loved everything about it.
We got 2 (one for each car) of the Evenflo Titan Elite and are very happy with them as well. Nothing I dislike other than the fact if he falls asleep, it's a pain in the ass to get him in the house w/o waking him up, but that's because I can't bring the whole seat in like I did w/ the infant seat. It's got nothing to do w/ the brand itself.
We originally had a Chicco infant seat and exchanged it during the recall fiasco for the Maxi Cosi Mico. The mico fit her much better, but the canopy flops and that's annoying.
We have 3 convertible seats:
I have a Britax Boulevard CS in my '06 Acura TL. Love the seat, super easy to install, easy to use, great padding.
We have a Recaro Signo in Matt's '07 Chevy Avalanche. Biggest seat in the big truck. It's very well padded and goes to 70lbs.?
We have an Evenflo Triumph in my IL's '07 Acura RDX. Roomy, was pretty easy to install and is easy for my MIL to operate (a big plus). MUCH cheaper than the Britax for a 3rd seat.??
We had the Chicco keyfit30. I really liked it. The inserts that came with it were great. My only complaint is that the fabric made him sweat in the summer.
We have the Britax Marathon. I really like it as well. It's super easy to install. DS is super comfy in it. It's just very big.
Graco Safeseat - love it! the sunshade is kinda annoying bc it falls back and gets underneath but i love how adjustable it is and how far it covers the seat so i guess its a tradeoff, its just a tiny pet peeve though
I want a Britax after this one but they are SO expensive I'm not sure
We had a Graco infant seat (travel system). I loved it up till about a month ago. It was fairly light, easy to clean, nicely padded, had the canopy/shade thing, and was so easy to transfer from car to car or to the stroller. What I don't like is that it's supposed to hold a baby up to 30 lbs. DD is only 20 lbs and doesn't fit.. we had to squish her practically to get her in there!
We just bought (about a week ago) a Britax Marathon. Wish we would've bought it months ago. It's so nice and roomy. The only thing I don't like is that instead of the base being attached to the latches/car (like the infant seat), it's the seat itself that is attached. Makes it a little more annoying to transfer from car to car (and we can't afford another one right now). Other than that, I love it and DD seems happier.
Re: s/o Carseats -- Which do you have?
We haven't moved up to the convertibles yet but we have a Britax Marathon & Roundabout in storage.

Infant seat was Graco Snugride
Convertable is The First Years True Fit. Nice features, good price, ranked up there with Britax and Evenflo Triumph, better fit for my small car.
BabyTrend Flex-Loc
Loved the safety rating. Dislike: It was way too heavy and wasn't padded enough. DS hated it.
Eddie Bauer 3-in-1 (same as Alpha Omega 3-in-1)
Love everything except that it is dificult to install rear facing.
Graco Snugride. Liked it, but the straps twisted easily. DS hated it for the first 3 months of his life.
Evenflo Advance. DS loves it and is much more comfortable. I can see how the leg straps could be uncomfortable in the summer though.
chicco keyfit. love it.
and we'll get another maxi cosi priori probably.
Snugride. I love it except for the pattern. It's a light blue and gray and I wish I had bought a Chicco for the better looking patterns.
Britax Boulevard. We bought it months ago now and can't wait to do the switch. So far it's been in MHs car and when we do use it, I really like it!!

Tales of the Wife
Infant - Evenflo Aura Elite. loved it, no cons from me
Convertible - Cosco Scenera. I really love it. Rear facing until 35lbs, plus the price, couldn't beat it
Infant-Chicco Contina. Loved everything about it.
Britax Marathon for my car. Just started using it last week. It is a great seat, but I am having problems getting him strapped in tight enough.
Evenflo Triumph for DS's car. We haven't had to use it yet, but just from getting it set up I think I am going to like it a lot.
Graco Safeseat - love it! the sunshade is kinda annoying bc it falls back and gets underneath but i love how adjustable it is and how far it covers the seat so i guess its a tradeoff, its just a tiny pet peeve though

Graco Safeseat. Love the higher weight/height limits.
Evenflo Triumph - love how easy the straps are to adjust and get a perfect fit.
