  I didn't start until right at 6 months, but once I learned how far the seats reclined, I probably would have started earlier.  If just to sit them in them where they could see me in the kitchen while I was cooking or something.

  I didn't start with a high chair till my darling could sit up, which is about 6 months. I love the space saver high chairs they hook on to your dinning chairs and dont take up much room. They run around $30 which is always good too.
