ETA: I am dead set on not exposing her to things like that so as to give her time to just get used to not having them in her life. Sure, her life will probably be boring with only water or whole milk (when the time comes) in her cup, and fruit for dessert........but she wont' know the difference for a loooooooong time My mom was the same way with me and I'm thankful for that!
I hope to God someone doesn't actually answer 'yes'
I said yes because K is currently chomping on a french fry.
I guess I don't equate one french fry with giving them McDonald's. Don't get me wrong, I love me some McDonald's french fries - I just don't want ds to develop an addiction too
What about home made fries? Does that count? We have given Wyatt a homemade fry (cooled with no seasoning). It was really soft and mushy. He liked it. DH is a potato fanatic so I guess it is a good thing he liked it.
Some people I know actually feed their kid fast food regularly. He's TINY though, which is funny to me. You'd think he'd be a rotund toddler if he ate out so much. They think it's cheaper than buying baby food and they don't like "leftovers" so they aren't making his food and freezing it.
I shake my head every time they talk about it Poor kid eats McDonald's like... every other day.
Oh my gosh my girls will not be getting ANYTHING fast food until they are with a friend and their mom does it and I don't know about it haha. I HATE fastfood for children it makes me sick.

Not yet nor do I plan on it in the future. We barely eat that crap ourselves.
My SIL on the other hand gives her kids 5, 3 and 19 months fast food ALL THE TIME. At least once or twice a week. When her oldest was 2, he could recite what his mom usually ordered from McDonalds. So sad.
Re: Poll!
where's the selection for "HELLL no!"?

Mama Jan's Kitchen... a food blog
I've given her like 3 fries.
Biggiewow. Not like I'm ordering her a happy meal anytime soon. I only eat McD's about 3x a year.
