hair loss after pregnancy

My hair is starting to fall out. Is this normal after pregnancy? I feel like it falls out in clumps. I really notice it when I take a shower or comb my hair. If any of you had this, how long did it last?

Yeah, it's normal.

For me, it only lasted a few weeks and then it stopped...

I am 3 months PP and I feel like I am still losing clumps of hair. I wash it every other day so maybe that's why.

Totally normal. I feel like it lasted a couple months for me. Now it is growing back and I have lovely little sprouts of hair all over the place.

Yes! I asked the same question about 3 months PP. The girls here said that it lasted until around 6 months PP. I felt like I lost half of my hair, but the goodish news is that it's growing back. I have a halo of little tiny hairs!

Remember though, you lost less hair while you were pregnant.=]

Ditto on the hair growing back in! It lasted from ~ 3 months to 6 months for me.

Yup, started at almost exactly 3 months postpartum and lasted until almost 6 months. Funny thing is that DS started losing his super thick baby hair at exactly the same time and kept losing until then too and just started growing it back at the same time so we have the same baby hair.

I lost a ton, but its finally slowing down. We had housecleaners come and they actually commented on it amongst themselves (in Spanish, not realizing I'd understand them!)
