First trip to ER

So, Joe has had this bad habit of climbing up onto the kitchen chairs and wants to stand. We always tell him to sit down or ... "on your bottom Joe" and he sometimes sits down and sometimes doesn't.

Yesterday he climbed up, I told him to sit down. Sat him down and walked away to put away some groceries... and all of a sudden hear him screaming. I turn around and he has fallen off the chair and hit his head on the corner of his kiddie table.

He's bleeding.

Jason and I apply pressure and off to the ER we go.

There is luckily a little ER right by our house, (mainly surgical stuff) but there is NEVER anyone there. We got right in and the doc looked at it and was going to do stitches but we decided to try Super Glue first... poor little guy SCREAMED because we had to strap him down.

It was horrible... but could have been so much worse. sigh.

I think this might be the first of many trips... my little fearless warrior.

Poor guy and mommy! ?Glad he's ok! ?I remember growing up we used to put the kitchen chairs on top of the table, since my brother was such a climber. ?As I type this, DS is climbing the outside of the staircase - ah!
