So... Huggies diapers stink.

Literally.

We received a Huggies "gift pack" that included a pack of 24 NB diapers. They are bigger than the pampers swaddlers NB diapers and he was starting to get a little big for the pampers NBs... so I decided to use the huggies because they were non-returnable since they were a part of a gift pack.

They smell like urine soaked diaper gel stuff after ds pees in them and it's pretty strong! YUCK.

Someone also gave us regular packs of Huggies in size 1 and 2- can I return these since they are unopened? I have no idea where they came from though.

    what type of huggies are they? we use the huggies and they don't smell like you are describing. I use the gentlecare not the regular.

    Ours do not smell either. That is strange...

    You can try exchanging them at Walmart.

    We use the gentlecare and we love them and they do not stink.  I know that pampers swaddlers smell like baby powder, but once they outgrow swaddlers no more baby powder smell.

    We hated the snug n dry. UGH! They were like wrapping dd in looseleaf paper.?

    I wonder if they are old? They are the gentlecare newborns... I have not noticed a powder smell with the pampers but maybe that's the difference?

    I can't stand Huggies. I work in a peds ward in a hospital and that smell is awful. 

    Sposies in general kind of gross me out. Something about that fake baby smell.

    I have only noticed the smell if the diaper gets really soaked, otherwise I don't think Huggies smell bad.

    Yeah, they were the only disposables that smelled bad.  I remember noticing when he peed by the terrible smell coming from the diaper...lol.  Smelled like chemicals mixed with pee.

    I feel the same way! I HATE them also! I'm trying to get rid of what I have left of one pack by pawning them off on my SIL hahaha!
