We are in teething hell!

And I can't even feel anything breaking through! But his top gums are so swollen right now, there is no doubt this is what it is. Poor guy woke up after just 2 hours last night and when I got into his room he had giant tears in his eyes and I could just see the pain in his face. I gave him orajel and he just layed on me and moaned. I finally brought him to bed with me and the poor thing just literally clinged to me or DH all night long. He usually doesn't even want to sleep in our bed but he must have really been hurting last night. I just gave him teething tablets right before I left him at daycare so hopefully that will help him out for a little while and I told them to call me when he gets cranky again and I'll come back down and give him motrin or orajel. So sad :-(

Oh poor Gavin! I hope they break through soon so that he can feel better. Poor baby, glad you work close to where he is so you can give him meds.

Poor baby! Those top teeth were buggers for Cadence. When they finally showed up I was part happy to see them and part mad at them (yes, mad at teeth) for hurting her so badly.

I hope Gavin gets some relief very soon!

Poor little guy.

Ridge is in teething hell today too. He was up almost all last night. He's missing school today too. He is just all out of sorts.

The top teeth were the worst for us. Poor DD got all 4 top teeth within 2 weeks - it was horrible. However, motrin was a lifesaver! It worked way better than tylenol and it's lasts for 8 hours instead of 4. I would only give it to her at night before bed and it helped tremendously with the pain and helped her sleep. During the day, I would give her frozen teethers, frozen washcloths etc. to chew on.
