I personally think combining/making up a name is just stupid. Poor kid usually gets to spend their whole life correcting people because no one gets it right.
Don't argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level then beat you with experience. - Mrs. G
Well we're Melanie and Michael so technically we wouldn't have to change anything..lol. I guess we could name our kid Michmel. So not going to happen..lol.
My friends named their DD Carley which was a combination of Carie and Bradley. Now they are pregnant with a boy though and feel like its hard to make sure his name has a meaning!
My cousin named her little girl Emily after her mom, Emma, and her husband's mom, Leanne. Her little boy is Jackson after her husband's dad, Jack, and her dad, Jason.
My maiden name is Zepp and my mom's name is Sherrilynn. We thought about Zepplynn (or some spelling there of) for a while. But scrapped it for fear that she'd want to be called "Lynn" which we don't like
I was almost a Kendra for my parents Kenneth and Sandra. I actually like it, possible middle name for imaginary child. For us, Christa or Jesper... probably not going to happen.
Re: Any "new" name combinations?
Jenson
I've heard that one before though.... It's a lot more mainstream than some of the other crap that people come up with.
Jason + Toni could be Jaton (I actually know someone with this name), Tonja, Tonson, Jani, Joni, Soni
I've actually toyed with mixing our mothers names (Carol and Sharon) to make a middle name Karen or Cheryl.

I know someone who combined Reece and Judy to make Judice.
If we were to combine our names, it'd be something like Andin or Kevea or something totally made up like that.?

Macey or Lark...
Not tooo bad.
Joe and Aimee, so I guess we could use Jaimee/Jomee. Or...Aiseph, which is not good.
I actually went to elementary school with a girl who's name was a combo of her parents - Jimalee. Jim and Lisa.
well - Ryan and Meghan sooo Ry-an and Meg-an
Or... ryghan... changed to be normal - Reagan.

Ours would be Britney or Wook, LOL. (Whitney + Brook)
My sister combined my mothers name and her MIL's name (Rebecca + Mary) to get Maricca (Ma-REE-ka). It's nms, but it's cute.
We are just going to go with initials to honor family members.
