  Oscar James - I love James.  Oscar, not so much.  Oscar the Grouch.

  Emerson Jo - Emerson is a boy's name.

  Harper Jo - I like Harper, not Jo (no offence to the family names)

  Eliot Jo - Eliot is a boy's name.

  Emerson Juliet - Again, a boy's name.  But I love Juliet.

  Ha ha ha, I knew the Emmett Edward would get Twilight referenced. It was on our list before Twilight existed, but after reading the books myself (& admittedly, getting hooked) I knew this would be tough to pull off.
  

  Thanks for all the thoughts! All the mn's are interchangeable, these are just all names we like & I wanted to use them all without being too repetitive.

  I like Emmett (liked it before Twilight!! It's a family name) and Elliot.  And I really like Maeve.  I'd never be able to convince DH and we're having a boy, but otherwise I'd try to use it.

  I like Emmett, but not w/ Edward as the mn. Asher is also a good first name. None of your girls names are my style though.

  Boys (all mn's are family):

  Henry Michael - Very nice. 

  Emmett Edward - This doesn't flow well for me - Of the two, my favorite is Emmett.  Maybe Emmett Franklin or Emmett James?

  Elliott Arthur - Elliott is NMS, LOVE Arthur.

  Asher Franklin  - Nice.

  Oscar James - I think Oscar is ready for a comeback.  I like this a lot.

  Reid Pascal - Nice.

  Clyde Robert - I have to admit that Clyde makes me think of horses or large dogs.  Sorry!

  Girls:

  Emerson Jo - NMS - boys name.

  Harper Jo - It's OK - I love Harper for the reference to Harper Lee, but I feel like it's turning into a pop-culture name.  Maybe because it's similar to Harlow?  FWIW - Harper Lee's first name is actually Nelle, which I think is adorable.

  Eliot Jo - NMS - boys name.

  Emerson Juliet - NMS - boys name

  Maeve Eliza - This is very nice.  I like Maeve a lot.

  Maeve Marian - This sounds too much like "Maid Marian" to me.

  Henry Michael - Okay, not a fan of Henry, but I like the combo.

  Emmett Edward - Love it. (Also could use Everett or Everest)

  Elliott Arthur - Cute, assuming that Arthur is a family name.

  Asher Franklin - Love Asher and it's a good combo.

  Oscar James - The only thing I don't like about this is OJ and also, Oscar is going to be tough to pull off.

  Reid Pascal - Nope.

  Clyde Robert - Reminds me of a Clydesdale. Like Robert, though
