Babies: 9 - 12 Months

She's wasting away! lol

Madeleine is down to the 88% in weight!  Surprise  She'd been holding steady at 97% since about 6 months. Aw, she's thinning out.

Butt scooting must be good exercise.

  • LOL.

How did she sleep last night?

  • Better.  Didn't go to bed until 9:30 but slept until 7am.  We took her to the doctor and she's not sick.  We think she's just changing her schedule to one nap and she's gotten all confused.
  • FEED HER! FEED HER! If her cheeks thin out, I might just die! My goodness, she's adorable!
  • 9:30 to 7 isn't bad!

Glad to hear she's not sick but that sucks about the one nap.

I'm so not ready for that.  Ben gets super grumpy and a major 'tude if he doesn't sleep every 3-3.5 hours.  So, I hope the two naps continue for a looooong time.  ;)

I will cry if that happens.  But she's not so interested in food these days.
  • She does have some of the cutest cheeks I have ever seen.  It would be a shame for them to disappear.

  • DS goes through phases were he will. not. eat. He will only take bottles, no food. Unless, of course, it's something fun like cheerios or goldfish. And if there's something more interesting going on, forget about food.

No, it isn't bad, but it's a big shift and we all have to adjust.  We're used to her going to bed at 7pm so we've been trying to stick to that schedule, which has just caused huge frustrations for everybody.

Yeah, the one nap really sucks.  Enjoy two naps while you can.

  • Oh, I didn't realize she normally goes down that much earlier.  Now I can see why this would be a bit of a 'problem'.  Ben doesn't normally go down until 9:00-ish (and is up @ 6:00-6:30).  I forget that most babies go to bed earlier.

Hopefully tonight will be better for you!

  • Don't let Lanie find out she's losing those leg rolls! You'll never hear the end of it.

I know. Anonymous packages of twinkies will show up on my doorstep addressed to Madeleine.
