Firsttogo

Did you test again using FMU? Sometimes the digital tests are a lot less sensitive than the tests with the lines. I would say if you are 11dpo you are safe to test now. But if you get a BFN, it is still early. Good luck, I am pulling for you!!!

Re: Firsttogo

  • I did not test again. I called our clinic, and she chided me for testing before Wed. I feel like an idiot, and I want it to be over! I wish I could just know and get on with my life. I feel like I do not have the energy to try another month, but We have not been really trying that long.

  • Well Wednesday isnt far away. I would just wait it out...and test then. I know how hard it is to wait. I really hope you get your BFP! And I do know how you feel, I felt that way during our second cycle as well. I really wasnt sure I would be able to do a third cycle in a row. Injects require a lot of time and appointments and emotions which are hard to go through month after month. I really hope you wont have to worry about that though! Do let me know what happens. :o)
  • Butting in... but when the 3 of us are talking I always do!

You know, when is 12 DPO?  Is that Wednesday?  You only took 1/2 dose HCG... if your insurance covers you I would just say "look I am a stressed out mommy strung out on hormones... you need to run a blood test on me TODAY.  MY MENTAL HEALTH IS DEPENDING ON IT!".   By today I imagine a 1/2 shot of Trigger should be out of your system. They have always been awesome complying when I that way and we at least know the trigger is gone!

I always wait for my blood test to test b/c it is SOOOOO accurate (POAS is banned in my home).  It gives me that peaceful feeling that I know you are longing for.  You are in my prayers right now!  Hang in there Smile

  • Sorry, not sure what just happened there and now it wont let me delete. But I want to say I agree with francisca, call your RE and make them give you a blood test! Then there is no wondering. Hang in there!! :o)
  • I would love to, but I can not be late to nanny this week. I was supposed to remain calm, and wait for a positive or negative urine test from home. I am really fed up with our RE, and have an apt. with a new one this Sat. I hope he can get the job done this summer!
  • Who waits at home patiently Stick out tongue  Seriously!  I really really wish they were more sensitive to your needs.  I am glad you are looking elsewhere if you have that option (finding a doctor within 500 miles of the one horse town for me is difficult).  But having a good strong relationship with your OB & RE is so important.  They never would have scolded me at either my current doctors or old doctors office for wanting a blood test!  In fact I told my new one about my obsessive addictive POAS habit and he came up with a day 11 or 12 Beta run.  That way I could have peace of mind.  Hang in there and let us know Smile
