Do you like Finley for a girl and I would think I would like to call her Fynn...Is that weird that Fynn is spelled differently than Finley??

If you want Finley, I would do the NN "Finn" Not sure where that Y came from. I think it's a cute name though and don't necessarily think I like a middle name

I like it, its on my list too, i would spell the name Finley as well, when you do the nick name i think its okay to spell it however you feel, Emily is my name but my nickname is spelt many ways by different people work and family, Emmie, Emi, Emy, M.E., I think its inevetable, people will spell it differently.

I am not a fan of this at all. My cousin has a male dog named Fin. So I do not associate this with a girls name at all.

I like Finley for a girl, but I don't care for the nickname Finn or Fynn for a girl. It seems too boyish for me.

I am very anti-Finley for a girl, but that is because my son is Finlay, it is a boys name and I hate that it is turning into a girls name. We call him Finn and I agree it is a boys nn, not a girls. And the extra y is strange.

We are naming our little girl Finley, but we will call her Finley, not Finn. But if you are really concerned about a nickname, you probably won't write her nickname much, just say it, so I wouldn't worry about how it is spelled.
