We have tried what feels like every freaking sippy cup out there!!!! DD never cared for them until just recently. Seriously, it's been about 3 days now that DD finally started actually drinking from a sippy cup, like more then a few sips here and there.
The one we had success with is the Nuby straw sippy (the small one w/ handles). It's great and doesn't leak and I love that DD doesn't have to tilt her head back to drink from it. She caught on very quickly too (you have to "bite" down and suck to get water out).

Started w/the nubby at 6 months. It has two handles and soft spout which DD loved. At about 7 `/2 months, I purchased an actual "sippy cup" from Gerber. For Christmas, she got a straw cup (munchkin) which she surprisingly mastered in only 3 days.
