Ultrasound at 6 weeks?

Did anyone else have their first ultrasound at 6 weeks... I went in today for my first visit with my OB and said everything looked great and I could come in Thursday for an ultrasound... my next visit is at 12 weeks.

    yes- i was 6 weeks, 1 day--- got to see the heart beating away ;)   it looked like a tiny peanut in the sac (best way to describe)--- like the one in my ticker haha

    i got pg on birth control, so they did an ultrasound at 6w6d to date the pg. we saw the heartbeat, but other than that, it just looked like a little blob with a yolk sac.

    My first visit was last week at about 10 weeks, we got to hear the heartbeat then. I'm going back in about 3 weeks for an u/s. My insurance only covers 2, so I'll have this one and then my 20 week to find out the sex.

    Our Doc gave us an option at 6 weeks whether to have one or not and face the possibilty of being disappointed by not seeing anything (soo early) but we said yes. and we saw a little yolk sac and a flicker. It was so cool. I would try it. Whynot.

    I had one at 6 weeks too. Doc just wanted to make sure we had an actual pregnancy since my big sis had so many problems. Cedens is right. That is the perfect way to describe what the heart look like.

    I did because I had ongoing spotting issues...

    They did a transvaginal u/s, it showed the heart flickering.  It was comforting to know that things were in the right place at that moment.  It looked like a grain of rice!

    I have one tomorrow morning, I will be six weeks to the day, I am really hoping to get to see a heartbeat!! Good luck on yours!

    I had one at 4w3d and all I saw was a little dot. I will be having my next one at 6w1d. I hope to see a little flicker!

    I went today at 6w3d and he put it right on my stomach and there was the baby. ?Heartbeat was 150. ?

    Mine's not until 18 weeks! Although, being the impatient person that I am, we went to a private u/s clinic on the weekend and saw and heard the heartbeat (170 bpm)!

    I had one at six weeks and saw the little flicker of the heartbeat.
