he stayed in his PJs all day today b/c i knew we were not going anywhere.
if i'm going to dress him and know we won't be going out i'll put him in comfy sweats and a t-shirt usually- which i do not put him in when we go out- not a fan of them.
Nope! DS and I both get dressed everyday, even if we don't go anywhere. My MIL asked me a while ago when DS was only a few months old if I got him dressed everyday and was surprised when I said of course! I'm just not a fan of sitting in pj's all day long. DS always wears jeans or khaki's, I'm not a fan of sweats and don't even buy them for him.
We have an occasional PJ day, but I usually dress DS regardless of whether we're going out (and the location) or staying in. I also don't dress him in sweats, nor do we own any. He has one pair of red track pants that are barely worn. I am just not a fan of sweats on him.
DD is always dressed, unless one of us is sick, then it is pj day.She usually wears jeans, or nice pants. She has a velor track suit that she wears with a onsie from time to time.
Yes. I dress Jack and do his hair every morning. I never let him out in public in sweats until recently when I discovered Charlie Rocket's sweats. So now he can go out in sweats as long as they are those. He has a couple pair of track pants that I let him stay in if we are at home. Otherwise it's jeans and some sort of shirt or sweater. Jack loves jeans and insists on wearing them often.
if i know we are not leaving the house i will let him run around in a top and a diaper and socks. i love to see the chubs, lol! when he goes to the sitters during the week he will wear sweat suits or jeans and cute boy tops.
During the week to my Mom and Dad's -sweatsuits or something easy to play in.
Out shopping or to eat with friends - jeans and a dressier shirt
Church - Dress or dress clothes
in for the day - DEFINETLY PJ's!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't put a bow in DD's hair unless we leave the house.
Ditto both of these. DD's hair only gets done if we are going somewhere and we always dress her differently if someone else is going to see her. Otherwise we keep her comfy and something easy to walk/play in.
Yes. If we stay at home I will put her in play clothes - comfy pants/older clothes. I do her hair everyday though. I can't stand to see it hang in her eyes.

Same as above. I don't see getting her all dressed up if we aren't leaving the house, she's dressed comfy to play. Of course when we're out and about she's always looking cute.
I only dress DD up when we leave the house. At home, she wears her pjs until after her nap, and then I usually dress her in comfy play clothes -- leggings or sweats with a long-sleeve onesie and sometimes a hoodie. She usually wears jeans and a nice shirt or sweater when we go out. I do brush her hair every day though.
I am surprised by those who said they never dress DC in sweats! I know I'm more comfortable in sweats when I'm home, so I just assume DD would be too.

We are definitely a comfy family. If we are staying in all of us are in pj's. DH and I will even get our showers for the day and put pj's back on, if we are at home. DD wears pjs all day or comfy clothes. If we are leaving the house, I put jeans, khaki's, etc on her. DS usually wears sleep n' plays or a long sleeve onesie and cotton pants. I never put jeans on him. They always seemed so uncomfortable for babies.
And if we do leave the house to go somewhere, DH and I put the pjs on when we come home, no matter what time. We just like to be comfortable.
Yes. If we are staying in I will put him in comfy pants. I think that is my hangup though because I feel so uncomfortable in jeans or dressier clothes that I can't imagine inflicting him with that all day if we are not going out
Nope. ?Eva gets dressed everyday regardless of whether we are going somewhere or not. ?The fun of dressing a little girl has not worn off for me yet and now that her hair is long enough for ponytails, she gets her hair done everyday too. ?I'm the type of person who couldn't sit around in my pajamas all day so we don't do jammie days unless one of us is really sick.
I dress my girls pretty much the same. I have a few outfits that I won't let them wear to daycare but otherwise, my 2 1/2 year old now has thoughts on what she wears so I just let her pick within reason. I am very casual so on weekends, we are all casual and the girls almost always are unless my older DD wants to be in a dress for the day like she did on Saturday.
yes. if we aren't going anywhere then she can just put yoga or comfy pants on and i dont really care if anything matches LOL. if we are - she gets dressed for the day and is dressed up nice.
Re: Do you dress DC differently ...
Definitely. On the weekends when we aren't leaving the house it's not uncommon for all of us (DH and I included) to stay in our PJs all day.
I try to at least brush her hair every day.

If we're staying home, she stays in her pjs until after lunch or her nap, whichever comes last.
?
And when I do dress her, I usually don't put socks on her unless we're going out -- she can grip better with her toes free.
But I'll put a barrette or headband on her around the house (whichever she'll leave in) b/c otherwise her hair gets in her eyes. ?
