First off, let me just point out that even though I knew what I peed on was an opk, my heart still skipped a beat when I saw two lines. Ha ha. As someone who has never gotten a BFP before, it was just nice seeing another line appear for a change.
Anyway, like I said, a faint line did appear. Does this mean I have a small amount of LH surge? I'm cd 17 and on my first cycle of Clomid so give me some hope...
Re: OPK's: Is a faint line better than no line?
When I have used OPKs, they would first show no line, then a faint line, then much darker lines when the LH surge was occurring.
You should see a test line as dark or darker than the control when you surge.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
This is true. Although I haven't been "formally" diagnosed with PCOS (yet), both REs I have met with told me I am basically peeing my money away.
I forgot to add that I got a +OPK on CD18, but haven't even come close to ovulating.

A faint line means nothing. Many people have enough random LH circulating to show up in urine. The goal is to get a line as dark or darker than the control.
You might be heading toward a surge or catching the end of one. I tended to have OPKs get gradually darker until I got a +.
Thanks for your input ladies! I do have my 2nd follie check tomorrow morning (cd 18) but I guess I will also be testing everyday until I see a darker test line.
I'm hoping and praying that this faint line means I'm about to surge!

Lol, yep! I was scared to have yet another test give me just one line so when I saw the 2nd one, I jumped for joy. I guess at this point, we'll take what we can get!
