Hey everybody - quick question. I had the weirdest feeling last night. It lasted about 2 seconds but it felt like a flutter. Almost like a butterfly was inside me. Was that baby?
I just started feeling kicks/flutters in the past few days (I'm actually almost 17 weeks, my counter is always a few days off here for some reason). ?To be honest, fluttering and gas feel really similar, so it could have been either. ?Hopefully it's the baby!
Btw, dh LOVES putting his hand to my stomach when the baby starts moving. ?I'm surprised he can feel it, but he does. ?It always happens when I settle down for the night or have been lying down a while...?
You never know then... a flutter is the way you often hear it described! I have yet to feel anything still.. at least I think.. I've felt lots of rumblings/feelings but nothing that really made me think it was the baby for sure. Maybe I am just bitter!
I have felt that a few days ago like a fish flopping or something. but i just assumed it was gas but could be the baby even though its kinda early. ya never know all babies are different maybe you have a little?gymnast?or swimmer in there.
You'll feel it soon, I promise! ?I heard there's a 3-4 week range, starting around 16-17 weeks, where people first start feeling the baby. ?I think just like anything else with pregnancy, it varies person to person. ?On this board it seems like there are a bunch of people who felt it much later, so I wouldn't sweat it, it'll happen!
To be honest, the kicking is annoying at times. ?When I cough or stretch or move weirdly, the baby seems to start moving around and it can be pretty uncomfortable.
Re: flutter
Did you fart shortly there after?
14 weeks seems pretty early to feel the baby...
haha ya guess i should of mentioned that butterfly i ate..
Nope..no gas.. had to pee though. Lol
