DC and Skype... FAIL.

She just attempts to teeth on the screen.  So we hold her tight and try to converse with people while she's throwing her body weight at their images on the screen and clearly shows no interest in anything but "nom."

Anyone have success with DC and Skype?

    We used it while we were on vacation so DD could talk to FIL and SMIL. She did pretty well. The only problems we had were that she kept trying to feel FIL's face/beard and seemed really confused, haha.

    We use it every Sunday. We find that if we set our laptop on the table and put DD in her high chair with a snack it works best. She waves at them. We have been using it every week since day 1 so I think she is used to it. My parents and IL's are 14 hours away so it is the best way for them to see her.

    we do! all though sometimes he tries to grab my parents thru the screen. but we LOVE skype! it lets my mom and dad see how big he has gotten. and they tell all their neighbors to come "meet" their grandbaby! (he's the first can you tell?)

    Sorry it hasn't gone well. We set up the camera with our laptop, so we can bring it right down to the play area. DS usually just plays, but sometimes he stares at the camera or grandparents image on the screen.
