DD is finally getting the hang of Level 2 nipples so I was going to sell the old 4oz. Dr Browns bottles that I had stored away. These happen to be the regular clear plastic Dr Browns bottles (not the bpa free ones). I have 6 complete bottles and a cleaning brush that is still sealed in plastic.
Assuming you are one of the people that is not bothered by their non-bpa-ness, would you buy used bottles?
And, would you buy the used nipples with them? (I would think they would just need to be re-washed and re-sterilize before use.)
I was going to list them on ebay and of course state their non-bpa-ness and that they were used. (There are other listings on ebay for used Dr Browns non-bpa bottles and they do have bids, but I just thought i'd ask on here too...)
Re: Would you buy used bottles?
i would be more likely to buy used bottles than nipples. Assuming I wasn't concerned about BPA anyway (I am, so I wouldn't.
Used nipples is akin to used soothers and teethers to me.
Good idea.
Thanks for all of your opinions. I think I might sell them anyway and if someone does win them, i'll give them the choice of taking the nipples too.
I"m not sure if you are aware but you can take your non-bpa free bottles back to BRU and they will eaither exchange for bpa free bottles or give you a store credit. Depends on the stores.
I have bought used playtex bottles, but since they use a liner... I think it is different.
I would never buy used nipples though..
