I'm tired of fighting Houdini at night. I've heard you guys rave about either of these as a huge improvement over swaddling with normal blankets. What are the benefits of one vs. the other?
I only have swaddle me and will rave about it. It's super easy to use (good for middle of the night feedings) and it's fleece, so it keeps her warm (I just put her in a tshirt or onesie) and she sleeps great with it. Also, not sure about cost of miracle blanket, but swaddle me is only like $10 at BRU
i love the MB! there is NO WAY for dd to get out we recently stopped swaddling, but i would recommend it 100%. it is a little more complicated and expensive. i think $25..not sure - it was a gift.

I use both, the SM is a little less restrictive so I use it more for daytime naps. The MB is great for kids who like a REALLY tight swaddle. Some babies don't. My kids bust out of the SM but not the MB.
We use the MB. But our guy manages to get his arms out sometimes. I think it happens when we don't make it as tight as we can! We really like it- and he likes it too.

I have both and prefer the swaddleme. It's way easier to use (you have to unwrap dc for diaper changes with MB; SM's bottom can come down without undoing arms. Much less disturbance at 4am) and cheaper.
We use the swaddleme and love it. It is super easy and ds has never busted out. We have a cotton and a fleece one so we can wrap him according to the weather which is nice too.
We have the SwaddleMe and absolutely love it. You can get it really tight if you use the velcro as it is intended. I've looked at the video on the Miracle Blanket website and that looks time consuming to me. The Swaddleme only takes a few seconds to put on my DD and it's cheap.
We love the SwaddleMe.... I know that a lot of people move on the the Miracle Blanket because their babies break out of the SwaddleMe, but I have a pretty strong baby and she has not come close to breaking out of the SwaddleMe.
I tried both and returned the MB. DD liked both, but we love the SMs and they are about 1/3 the cost. The MB was more complicated and time consuming. I love the SM!!
We started with a swaddle me and DS absolutely hated it. It kept him in, but something about the way the velcro fastened him in really bothered him. Also he was able to completely kick out of the bottom part in about 2 seconds.
We got the miracle blanket and we love it. DS is very soothed by it, and the only times he's ever broken free are when we do a bad job wrapping it.

I actually figured out how to change his diaper without unwrapping him from the MB. Just pull down the foot part and slip his legs out of it - when you're done slip it back in. Works for us
I have some we are not using and have only used a couple times if you are interested in them. I would sell them to you for $5 each instead of $10 that they retail for at BRU. kerri.marsh@gmail.com
Re: Swaddle me VS. Miracle Blanket?
I loved the swaddleme. You could do two swaddlemes Or you could buy the MB. I suppose just do the MB.
