I did not have any. ?Maybe if my epidural had worked and I was not contracting so painfully, haha, I would have used it, but really, once you get into the moment and start pushing and what not, the music or anything else for that matter in the background, kinda disappears. ?I'd recommend something that is like soothing for all the the contracting, then when its time to push, something like "Yeah" by usher, and "Lets get it started" haha, something you'd work out to, to get you all pumped up to push that baby out!
I didn't use anything either. I hadn't planned to, but even if I had there wouldn't have been time in my excessively short labor. I don't think I would have even noticed if music was playing while I was going through transition and pushing.
The most soothing, relaxing music to me is on my Loreena McKennitt CDs. My favorite is The Visit. She does Celtic folk music, inspired by other cultures/styles.
Never thought of labor music before, but now that you mention it, I may throw a couple of CDs in the bag when it's time!
