Between the hormones and weight gain, me thinks this isn't the wisest decision, but I was looking at some pictures from over the summer and it looked really cute short. ?I was also tan and in pretty good shape though.

Re: Is it a bad idea to cut my hair short while pregnant?
My BFP Chart~
That makes me want to do it even more. ?That is such a great cut on you!!!?
Thanks war_eagle. I was nervous about cutting it for the same reasons you listed...but I didn't gain weight in my face and I was SO sick of the mid-length do I had. So, I did it. My hairdresser loves me because she gets to try new cuts every couple of months!
How short are you thinking?

Yeah I LOVE that haircut too!!! so cute
I'm the same way. ?I'm always asking for something new. ?I was thinking about your length or maybe just a little bit shorter.?
Here is the pic I gave my hairdresser...just in case you need it!

I've done that cut before! ?lol?
My hair is never long. ?I look like crap with it long. ?It is kind of mid-length and probably much more mommyish now than if I got a shorter, sassier cut.?

Here's my two cents -?
Don't get a haircut that's going to need any assistance with styling tools or any time to make it look right, because you won't really have any.
I've never understood why women cut their hair short when they get pregnant or are about to have a baby - to me, ?being able to pull it back in a ponytail would be ideal!
For instance, I have bangs, that require flat-ironing EVERY DAY, and if I don't, it's suddenly 1987 in the hair region. I plan on growing them out if/when I get knocked up.
?
I understand the whole ponytail thing, but I can't even get mine that long! ?Once it starts getting on my neck, it gets on my nerves.?
Wash and wear is WAY easier. You don't have it falling in your face, etc. Here's mine:
This are my thoughts exactly. The year prior to get KTFU I had a short, sassy bob, chin length in the front, much shorter in the back and I LOVED it. However, it required soooo much maintenance. I had to get it cut every 5-6 weeks to keep the style, then blow-dry with a round brush and touch up with a flat-iron in spots. And I was never able to roll out of bed in the morning and have it look anywhere near decent, I had to shower and style it every morning. Thus as soon as I got my BFP I started the grow-out process. I now have hair that sits right on top of my shoulders with it still slightly shorter in the back, I still need to blow dry it and flat-iron if we are going out and I want it to look cute. But the best part is (and I know for me it will be a lifesaver with a newborn) is that I can throw it up in a pony-tail in the am and not worry about it all day if I don't want to.
