Reflux moms, question re: spitting up

Alaina has been spitting up what seems like the majority of her bottle at every feeding but since she's gaining weight, the pedi assured me that she's fine. For the last few days, though, I've noticed brown flecks coming up with some of the milk and it looks to me to be dried blood. Again, the pedi doesn't seem concerned but it has me worried. Has anyone seen something similar with their DC?

    I wouldn't worry about the spitting up BUT the brown flecks would freak me out a lot. I'd go back or at least call.

    I would definitely talk to the pedi about the blood.. spitting up I wouldn't be worried about but blood I would.  DS has reflux and he spits up after most of his feedings but I've never seen blood.  He will scream and tense his entire body and arch his back.  He's been on zantac for about a week now and it seems to be helping but I would definitely call the pedi on Monday about that.

    By any chance is she on the Prevacid solutab?  It can look brown (or purple or black) when spit back up.

    ditto Mhop... Does she seem to be in any pain? If not, I wouldn't be concerned with the spitting up... but I also think the doctor needs to take you seriously regardless
