Any1 else w/ bloody noses?

Everytime I blow my nose- some blood comes out.  It usually gets like that every winter a little....  but know there is a lot.  I blowed my nose this morning and TONS of blood came out- filling the entire tissue.  Is this pregnancy related?  Anyone else get this?

Dx: PCOS/Amenorrhea/Anovulatory/lining problems. Clomid = BFN's. Lots of cancelled cycles due to thin lining or cysts. IUI#1= Follistim, estrace and endometrin = BFN IUI#2= Repronex, follistim, viagra suppositories and endometrin= BFN. IUI#3= Repronex, follistim, viagra suppositories, femtrace and endometrin= BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isabella born in June via C-section!!!!! She is so incredible!     yes, I have had a couple in the past week or so...  I read that its normal

    Mine's been a little blood tinged lately b/c of the heat & dry air, but I think slight nosebleeds are more common in pregnancy b/c of the increased blood flow in general, which includes to the mucosa of your nose...

    but if it is a LOT, I'd call your dr.

    I'm having bloody noses as well.  I think it's mainly winter-related.  But as pp said, if it was a lot, I would call your dr...

    yup, me too.  (And I live in Houston so I can't really blame the weather.)  I've always read it was normal and even a sign of pregnancy before a BFP for some people.

    Yes, I had it with DS and I have it this time as well. I think it is due to the increased blood flow you have while pregnant.

    Haha...after replying to your post, I went to the bathroom & had to blow my nose...lo & behold, not just blood tinged anymore, but more bloody! EW! :)

    I've been getting them since about week 5, but I think that was b/c I was still using PIO & patches.  I've noticed that I get almost a coating around my whole nostril.  Beware... I blew my nose while driving and thought it was strange there wasn't much in my tissue.  Then an hour after I was at work, I looked in the mirror and saw a bloody chunk on the collar of my white shirt!!!

    No one said anything to me.  So now I have to look in the mirror every time I blow my nose.



    Me – 33 (no diagnosis), DH – 41 (MFI)

    IVF #1/ICSI 2008 – 22 ER, 21 F, Day 3 transfer (8A and 8B) - BFP, 3 Frosties

    Shipped frosties from TX to VA in 2012

    FET #1 May 2013, single blast – BFN

    FET #2 August 2013 2 blasts – BFN

    IVF #2/ICSI/AH Jan 2014 – 8 ER, 7M, 6 F Day 3 transfer (grade 2 & 3), no frosties - BFP!

    yes, it's normal, I asked my peri about this...it's b/c of the extra blood volume in your body during pregnancy...he said he sees it a lot. :)

    I'm pretty sure it's pregnancy related.  I've read it's normal and it's happening to me too.  The wintery, dry weather probably isn't helping.
