10-11 weeks? Pants still fit?

With #1, I was wearing maternity pants at 10 weeks. Not because I was showing but because I was super bloated and had eaten like crazy and already gained weight.

For the past couple of weeks, I've been wearing my looser, more comfortable pants to work simply because I've had stomach cramps and some bloating so they just feel better. But yesterday we went out and I tried on a pair of my cute jeans and I was so happy to find that they still fit!

Re: 10-11 weeks? Pants still fit?

  • Most of my work pants still fit since they were a little big to begin with. I did get a pair of maternity jeans because my regular ones were tight. Man, maternity jeans rock! I love elastic! Big Smile

  • lucky u...all my pants are tight, I have to take out my maternity pants alreadySad
  • My low-rise khakis are still quite comfy - but my jeans just feel too tight.  I got a few pairs of "real waist" maternity pants at Old Navy that I currently need on the smallest setting, plus with a belt - but at least they let me feel comfy.
  • I'm a little past 11 weeks, but my pants definitely didn't fit.  I could button them but sitting down would be awful.  I feel like I really popped after I hit week 12, though.  Bloating or not I still have a belly!

  • Mine usually fit in the morning, but by lunch time they are unbuttoned or I am using the bella band. I think the maternity pants would be too big though. Maybe in a few weeks!

  • I bought a couple pairs of pants one size up, so I've been wearing those.  Not ready for maternity yet.

  • My pants still fit, but barely. ?I bought some maternity pants last weekend and will probably start wearing them next week.

Well, I can't expect to get THAT lucky. LOL. This is #2 and I was showing way before 25 weeks so I know this time it will only be worse.

  • Everything still fits for me.  With my first I wore my regular jeans until I delivered (using the rubber-band trick) - I'm hoping that happens this time around as well.
  • I am still fitting into most of my pants- the ones that are more low rise. I do have my favorite pair of skinny jeans that if I even gain a pound they don't fit right- those have been benched since December! ;) Sometimes it makes me worried that I am not big enough- maybe something is wrong, but most days I don't have time to dwell on it and I am happy that I have pants to wear! LOL

  • I just invested in four pairs of pants one size up from my pre-pg size because my old ones were just a little too snug to button. I figure I can use them now until I need maternity pants and then again after the baby is born.

I just gave in on Friday, LOL. I got tired of undoing the rubberband in my pants button every time I had to go to the bathroom- that "solution" lasted about a week before I threw in the towel and got more pants.

  • Everything is tight on me.  I've been resisting wearing maternity clothes just yet.   I think I'll run out to Old Navy today to find some maternity clothes that I can start wearing now.

  • Everything still fits for me. I don't like maternity clothes very much, I do not find them comfortable and I have never found a pair of jeans that don't slip down on me and I have tried several different kinds and sizes.  I usually don't make the switch until at least 20 weeks so I am hoping I still have some time. I can't wait for the weather to warm up and I can switch to dresses and skirts!
  • I'm still wearing my regular clothes. I'm a good 10 lbs heavier starting out than I was with DS, but I had a fairly defined waist. Now that my waist is filling in, I no longer have that extra inch or two in my waistband.

My bella band and new maternity pants are sitting in my closet...just waiting! I am NOT looking forward to months of only having 7 outfits to choose from! :)

  • I'm not as far as you, but I'm still wearing my regular clothes too.  I didn't start wearing maternity until I was about 16 weeks with my son.  I expect it should be a little sooner this time around, and will probably start around 10 or 11 weeks.  I guess we shall see!

  • I was lucky in that most of my pants were 1-2 sizes too big when I got pregnant, so I haven't had any problems fitting.  Even my jeans (that actually fit me) are still really comfy.  As much as I want to "show", I would love to be able to stay in my regular clothes for as long as possible!  I guess each person (and each pregnancy) is a little bit different - but you're certainly not alone.
  • some days my pants feel great, but some days they're so uncomfortable...just depends on how bloated i am day to day!
  • I am still in my pre-preg pants and they are fitting okay. Most of my pants were a little loose because I don't like tight pants.  They have become a little tighter and a few pants are really tight, but I just stopped wearing those.

  • My body hasn't changed yet, so my pants still fit the same way. I bought the Bella band etc but haven't had a need to use it.

  • I am not that far along, but have 1 pair of pants that do not fit. I have to wear a uniform everyday and those pants still fit for the most part luckily!!
