Anyone have experience with pink eye?

Keira has had a cold for a couple of days.  Yesterday and especially today her right eye has had a lot of discharge and goopy.  Her eyes have been watery due to the cold so I thought it was because of that but now I'm wondering if it is pink eye.  Her eyes are a little pink but just a little, but again I thought that might be because they have been watery.

If you have dealt with this, what did it look like?

    Here is a pic of ds with pink eye in both eyes. It was pretty obvious.

    Awww...poor little girl. This happened to DS on a few occasions where it wasn't pink eye. Pedi told us he was just so stinkin congested that it was backing up and coming out his eyes. His eyes looked a little pink but it was more b/c he was rubbing them.  When he had pink eye it was unmistakeable...his entire eye was bright pink and puffy.

    The only things we could do were saline in the nose, humidifier, baths and warm cloth to clean the goop off.  Oh - we also spent some time in the bathroom while the shower was running for the steam. GL

    It's sticky. Like if she closes her eye, it will sort of stick together when she opens them again, and it's like a I wanna say yellowish/whiteish and yucky looking. They have some medicine called arithromicin (I think I spelt that wrong, I spelt it pheneticlly) and in a couple days it will clear up. Just make sure to wash hands a lot.
