I registered yesterday and was thinking...do you think you can use the pack & play as the bassinet for the first few weeks. This way, she can sleep in our bedroom without having to purchase a seperate bassinet. What do you think?

Ours has a bassinet insert and that is exactly what we are doing.

Yep, it is what we are doing too - I believe you can use the bassinet feature of a pack n play until the baby is 15 pounds.

Great idea. That's what I would do if a PNP would fit in my room.

We were planning on doing that until someone gave us their bassinet.

We did this for DD for about 4 months. Worked great.

That's what we are doing. ?My DS is 4 months old and still sleeps in the pack-n-play.

That's what I'm planning on doing. Afterward, we'll just remove the attachment and use it for travel.
