pacis. Sometimes my dad will call them num nums, but I just think that sounds dumb. Plus it reminds me of that 5 year old who was still bfing on 20/20 - "I want my nummies!" - ewww.

OMG - I was just talking to my husband about that this morning!!

Haha, DH now refers to by boobs as "nummies" after seeing that. When it's feeding time he asks DS if he wants some nummies and brings him to me to eat.
We call it a pacifier or a "papilla" (pa peee aa) Its what my sister in law called it, its some type of Greek word (her husband is greek) and she had kids first so it just stuck.
We call it a MiMi. We used to call it a binky or paci, but my first son started calling it a MiMi once he could talk and it stuck...I think he was trying to say binky but couldn't get the "b" sound.
Pipe came from my neighbor growing up-- her daughter lived for her pacifier, and that's what they called it. Incidently, it took them until she was 3 to wean her of it. I remember her pulling it out of the trash and popping it into her mouth.
Mostly nuk... sometimes paci/pacifier. MIL calls it a "tee-tee" and it drives me insane. It sounds like titty. DH started saying it and I had to nix it... no freakin' way.

Paci or Poo. My brother always called it a Poo for his boys and now its stuck with us but I think its uber weird especially when in the sentence
"put the poo in her mouth"
OMG - I was just talking to my husband about that this morning!!
MH calls it a binky so that's what I call it too.

My MIL calls it a "teaser" and this annoys the helll out of me.

I call the pacifier either a plug or a paci.?
We use paci...and bah-bah for a bottle, too :-)
All of my boys have called them different things.
My oldest it was a paci
My second called it a boo
My thind calls it a baby
My fourth - only time will tell I would imagine he will call it a baby too.

DH calls it a te-te (spanish for pacifier). I started calling it that too even though DH thinks I butcher the pronounciation. I also call it a paci.
Big brother and sister are excited to meet the new baby! It's a GIRL!

I'm way late on this, but I grew up calling it a ninny (which I recently learned is inappropriate).
H and his family call it a dummy; my mom calls it a sucker, my dad calls it a ninny.
